Players portray wandering protectors traveling through the overlooked towns and rural communities of America. Each place hides its own problems, from corporate exploitation and corrupt overseers to forgotten prisons and local conspiracies. The characters arrive as outsiders, investigate the trouble they encounter, and decide how to help those in need. They rely on observation, knowledge, negotiation, and quiet intervention before resorting to force, stepping in when injustice threatens innocent people.
