Set in a superstitious, plague-ridden Europe of the 7th century, this tabletop role-playing game blends investigation, occult horror and action. Players take the roles of investigators who research, document and confront unknown supernatural anomalies that defy ordinary explanation. Encounters vary each session: horrors are unpredictable and require clue-gathering, interrogation and fieldcraft rather than brute force alone. The setting also features clandestine organizations with competing agendas, so social maneuvering, conspiracy and moral ambiguity influence outcomes as much as combat and occult lore.
