Scrabble Trickster

Players draw seven letter tiles and place words on a shared grid to score points based on letter values and board bonuses. Proper names and backwards spellings are allowed, and some turns permit playing words that do not connect to existing words, changing legal word options from the classic rules. Players must still place words that use at least one existing tile or otherwise follow the variant’s placement rules, creating tactical decisions about which plays open bonus spaces for opponents. Rounds proceed as players refill tiles and contest premium squares until tiles run out and scores are tallied.
