Spice Merchant

Spice Merchant is a board game for 3–4 players. It plays in 15 minutes and is meant for ages 8 and up. Ludoya players call it best with 3.

Players manage a hand of spice cards that represent both their goods and the value of different markets. At the start of each round, each player secretly sets aside one or two cards as an investment. On a turn, a player either places a card face up as an open stock or adds one to four cards of the same spice to a market. Each market accepts only one type of spice, holds up to four cards, and each spice can appear in at most two markets. When the markets are sufficiently filled, players reveal their secret stocks and score points based on the matching market type and its size. After four rounds, the player with the most points wins.
