The Incredibles: Save the Day Game

Die Spieler schlüpfen in die Rollen der Parr-Familie und schützen Metroville vor einer Reihe von Problemen. Drei Proble karten werden aufgedeckt, und ausgesparte Bereiche des Spielplans zeigen, ob für jedes Problem Schnelligkeit, Beweglichkeit, Verteidigung oder Stärke erforderlich ist. In jedem Zug würfeln die Spieler, um sich fortzubewegen, decken Karten auf, wenn der Alarm erscheint, und kümmern sich um neue Probleme, Straßensperren oder Hilfe von Frozone und Edna Mode. Die Spieler würfeln, um die erforderliche Fähigkeit einzusetzen und Probleme zu lösen, während sie gleichzeitig Jack-Jack im Auge behalten, der sich durch die Stadt teleportiert. Die Gruppe verliert, wenn ein ungelöstes Problem das Ende der Leiste erreicht, und gewinnt, wenn alle Probleme gelöst sind und Jack-Jack sicher bei der Familie ist.

My two 5 year olds had a fantastic time with this game. You run around the city board doing a roll-and move thing, but at least you have multiple paths to choose from, and at times paths will close off. When you arrive at a trouble spot you roll your die, or maybe the 'jack jack' die if anyone has managed to get his special die off the board, and hope to get a matching symbol to clear the disaster tile. Each character has a particular die that's better at one type of symbol. You win if you clear all the disasters before they push off the conveyor belt at the bottom of the board. The only thing I'd like to see improved is to have some sort of epic final confrontation, because the game does end with a whimper. ★ Art, Iconography and components functional ★ Clever or interesting mechanisms ★ Reasonably low downtime between turns with mildly AP players ☆ Multiple plays stay interesting ☆ Low or mitigatable luck elements ★★★☆☆ Raw enjoyment
