Umbra Via

Players explore a ruined garden by drafting and bidding on path tiles to build a shared 4x4 grid. Each round four tiles are revealed; players secretly assign cubes from their bag to choices on a personal board, reveal, move cubes to the tiles, repeat a second secret placement, then the tile with the fewest cubes is placed first by the highest bidder. Tiles maintain orientation when placed and connect into paths across the grid. When a path becomes closed at all open ends, players score the path based on cubes placed on its tiles: the top contributor reclaims the most special “double-value” cubes to their bag, the runner-up reclaims fewer, and then the path’s tiles are discarded. The first player to retrieve all of their double-value cubes wins.
