BattleTech: Alpha Strike

Una versión de juego rápido de un wargame de combate acorazado futurista ambientado durante la era de la Invasión de los Clanes. Los jugadores despliegan BattleMechs individuales y otras unidades representadas mediante Cartas de Unidad abstractas derivadas de las clásicas hojas de registro, y luego maniobran y combaten por tierra, mar y aire usando las reglas simplificadas de Quick-Strike. El sistema permite jugar tanto en tableros con hexágonos como sin ellos, y está pensado para jugadores de wargames con miniaturas que buscan batallas más rápidas que las del reglamento detallado completo. Los jugadores crean sus fuerzas, resuelven los combates con dados y cartas, y persiguen objetivos como destruir o inutilizar las unidades enemigas; el libro incluye ejércitos de ejemplo y una estructura de campaña lista para jugar.
