Muffin Time

Players compete in a chaotic card game where the goal is to start a turn holding exactly ten cards. Each turn begins with drawing a card, then optionally placing up to three trap cards from hand to affect future play. As a second action players either pick up a card or play a single action card; action cards are unique and produce a wide range of effects that help the user, hinder others, or alter the overall state of the table. The game ends immediately when a player begins their turn with exactly ten cards.

Weird, fun social game with many twists and turns. PROS - The game definitely embraces its own chaotic premise, with some cards being absolutely crazy and therefore very fun. - It does create an environment of its own, with the players doing silly stuff just in case the right card appears. CONS - With the higher player counts, there are too many damaging effects and too many counters on the table and the game can overstay its welcome.
