Munchkin Gloom

Players control a party of hapless adventurers and deliberately inflict misery, misfortune, and humiliating setbacks on their own characters. Card effects lower happiness, add afflictions, and stage comic deaths while opponents can interfere with further torments or steal benefits. Rounds consist of playing modifiers onto character cards, resolving encounters that shift advantage or suffering, and triggering deaths to score points; the player whose party accumulates the most tragic points wins. The tone mixes dark humor and parody of heroic fantasy, with light card-driven storytelling and tactical timing of plays.
