In this game players bid to select cards from a central display. The player who bids the most gets 2 cards, second place gets 1. Third gets 1. Last gets nothing, but gets half their bid back rounded up. The cards have different rows of goods in different quantities printed on them. You can place money on cards to set a price for the card for someone else to in theory buy from you, but money is very limited, and setting the price means your money has to sit on the card as the price, and isn't available for you to bid with. The game is fast, and tough. At the end of the game, players get a payout from each good type they have the majority of, including getting a small payout from other players who don't have the majority yet still have cards matching that good type. I wasn't going to grasp the how and why of this game on the first play. I would give it more plays, as it sort of reminds me a little of Container but way way scaled down. That being said, I'm not sure I'd actively seek out additional plays either. I have a sort of a neutral impression of this game. Could take or leave. Might like it eventually if I get more plays and a better understanding of the flow of things.
