Antike Duellum

Two players reenact clashes from the Punic or Persian wars by developing city-states, raising armies and navies, and competing for influence across a modular map. Players found and upgrade cities that produce marble, iron or gold, acquire know-hows and event cards, recruit legions and galleys from a bank supply, and use walls and simplified siege rules to protect holdings or capture opponents' cities. Victory comes from collecting a set number of ancient personages through expansion, technology and conquest; resource management and timing of military actions shape each duel.
