Revolution: The Dutch Revolt 1568-1648

Players take control of one of five factions competing for political, religious and economic influence during the Dutch Revolt. The game combines area control, resource management and intermittent military action: players spend money, recruit armies and deploy agents to gain cities, provinces and supporters. Factions have distinct objectives and may cooperate or turn on each other as the balance of power shifts. Battles and sieges occur but the core play focuses on controlling trade, religion and local governance to score victory points over a series of turns.
