The Manhattan Project: Energy Empire

Players lead a nation in the mid-to-late 20th century, developing industry, commerce, and government while managing sources of energy. The board uses worker placement, tableau-building, and resource management: on a work turn a player places a worker on the main board and activates tableau cards using workers and energy, while on a generate turn a player rolls energy dice to replenish their energy supply. Actions produce pollution and can trigger global crises, so science and mitigation cards are important to offset harmful side effects of industrialization. Players balance building power plants and infrastructure, acquiring resources, and managing environmental impact to advance their nation.
