Investigators travel beyond Arkham to storm-lashed New England coastal towns where fog, missing villagers, and strange lights hint at underwater horrors. Players explore two new double-sided location tiles representing Kingsport and Innsmouth, move investigators, gather clues, and resolve encounters from a large new card pool. The game adds eight new investigators with unique abilities, new assets, monsters, conditions, and a terror mechanic that alters play. Four new interconnected scenarios present narrative objectives and escalating threats as players manage resources, combat enemies, and attempt to prevent or survive cosmic horrors emerging from beneath the waves.
