Atmosfear: Interactive App edition

Players race to collect six keys from different regions of the board and then reach the central Well of Fears to draw an opponent’s fear and claim victory. An app on mobile devices provides a randomized countdown timer and plays the Gatekeeper, who appears at unpredictable times to issue commands or penalties. Turns proceed quickly as players roll dice, move, and resolve Gatekeeper interruptions while scrambling to complete objectives before the clock runs out. Game length and Gatekeeper appearances are variable, and the app can run on multiple devices so the host sometimes appears on a player’s own phone.
