This set functions as a standalone game or as an expansion to the original penguin flicking game. It introduces new power cards that grant abilities — tasks tied to 1-point cards and a fish-moving power on 2-point cards — and offers optional tournament scoring. When combined with the base set, it adds multiple new layouts, a new "The Race" game mode, support for up to eight players, and components for creating custom layouts.
