Scrawl

Players begin with a prompted phrase, draw a quick doodle to represent it, then pass the paper to the next player who must write what they think the drawing depicts. That written phrase is folded to hide the original, and play alternates between sketching and guessing as each sheet circulates around the table. When the sheets return to their starters, players compare the original prompt to the final result; scoring rewards the funniest mismatches and clever guesses. The game emphasizes rapid, imperfect drawing and free-association guessing, producing a chain of distorted interpretations and surprising outcomes.
