This box contains the base tile‑laying game together with four expansions that add new scoring elements and gameplay options. Players place terrain tiles to build roads, cities and cloisters, then deploy followers to claim features and score points as areas complete. Added components introduce larger tiles and extra tiles for trade goods and builders, inns and cathedrals, abbeys and mayors, and a king and scout mechanism for endgame bonuses and alternate scoring. The set also includes tiles compatible with the Hunters & Gatherers variant.
