Drums of War

Players command a fantasy army using an asymmetrical 38‑card deck led by a hero. Deck construction and hero choice determine which cards are removed or kept, with some heroes forcing random removals and others allowing selection. During play, players alternately deploy units, equipment, and tactics from hand by paying their cost with other cards in hand; cards spent are removed from the game except for specific abilities. Once both players pass, deployed units resolve combat. Victory comes from dealing wounds to the opposing hero equal to their life total before running out of cards to replenish the hand.
