Players explore a strange island and document its unusual plants and animals to score points. On a turn, a player places a terrain card onto the growing island tableau, potentially covering previously placed terrain, then places one of their seven flora or fauna tokens on the card just played. Each token scores according to its specific scoring conditions based on neighboring terrain and features, so placement and timing drive point generation.
