Players cooperatively guide a community across generations in a persistent, campaign-style survival setting set in a remote glacial valley. Each session represents one generation: players face crises and opportunities, craft tools and structures through a discovery-based crafting system, explore new areas, and contend with giant, immortal beasts whose needs and instincts affect the valley. Decisions and events permanently change the world and components are sometimes altered to reflect those changes. The game supports solo or variable groups and emphasizes managing resources, expanding crafting knowledge, village building, and exploration over multiple linked play sessions.
