Players lead late Stone Age tribes forced to migrate in search of food, shelter and fertile land. On each turn players gather and manage dual-purpose markers that serve as both resources and action tokens, use them to explore an expanding map, and perform activities like hunting, fishing, gathering, crafting cave paintings, and holding ceremonies. Play proceeds in two phases: pay resources at a central campsite to claim rights to actions, then retrieve those markers as action cubes to execute additional actions across discovered areas. Victory is determined by accumulated progress, wealth, and victory points from efficient action selection.
