Tsukuyumi: Full Moon Down (Second Edition)

Un futuro devastato in cui una luna draconica si è schiantata sulla Terra, trasformando persone e animali in potenti fazioni che combattono per la sopravvivenza e il predominio. Ogni giocatore sceglie una fazione asimmetrica con unità, abilità e configurazioni iniziali uniche, quindi gioca per un numero fisso di round composti da fasi distinte. In ordine di turno, i giocatori scelgono le carte azione, modificano l’iniziativa e pescano carte evento/Impatto, generano unità e raccolgono risorse, poi muovono le unità e risolvono gli attacchi e il controllo delle aree (incluso il piazzamento e l’utilizzo di speciali segnalini Oni). I Punti Vittoria si ottengono occupando le aree, completando le missioni della propria fazione e raggiungendo gli obiettivi; vince chi ha il punteggio più alto al termine dei round prestabiliti.

    The game itself is great. With a few permanent pens I was able to write down the stats on the base of every figure which made it a whole lot easier to manage. My main gripes: - The rulebook is extremely ambigious and doesnt seem to have been fixed at all since 1st edition. - The card quality is very bad. As in they may be 350gsm in weight, but they are the least stiff/bend resistant cards I have evere touched. I had to double sleeve them with two 100 micron sleeves to make them usable. - There are a few hiccups with the components as in wrong base on giraffe, wrong backside on a couple of map tiles, wrong backside on a card and none of the component overviews in the rulebooks match reality which makes everyone unsure if they have the full game. - Also, the kickstarter exclusive compoents like mascots and tokens are as non-functional as you can get them. Too small and in wrong colors. Much better off printing them off yourself so you can make soom room to write in the stats the tokens provide just like on the cardboard tokens which are miles better. I seem to have gotten the full game and the game is not bad in itself, but the production is garbage tier except for the cardboard and most of the minis. I'll rather play Root for this kind of asymmetry, length and complexity.
