Zombicide: Gear Up

Players each take a survivor sheet showing four upgradable weapons plus damage, armor and ammo tracks, and place zombie cards on three street levels according to the chosen difficulty. Each turn reveals a weapon color that players activate by fitting that weapon’s hit-shape into a zombie’s outline on their sheet, marking damage, spending ammo or armor as needed and removing zombies when fully cleared. Spawn cards periodically add new zombies to players’ third streets, and defeated zombies let players upgrade weapons or gain special effects. A boss appears under late turn cards and can be attacked under certain conditions; the group wins by defeating the boss within the allotted rounds and loses if any survivor is killed. Solo play adds limited-use companion activations.
