1849: The Game of Sicilian Railways
Players build and operate railways across 19th- and early 20th-century Sicily, laying track tiles and expanding networks across the island. The game uses stock rounds and operating rounds: players buy and trade shares to control companies, then run those companies to run routes, earn revenue and pay dividends or invest in growth. Designed as a compact, faster-playing entry in the 18xx family, it streamlines company management and track development while preserving share trading, route planning and economic competition.

Balleflass6.0 Just a first impression. I messed up badly as I got stuck north-west doing nothing mid-game to game end. Entirely my fault, but it left a somewhat bad taste in my mouth. Will make sure everyone know how to avoid this to make sure everyone has a good time learning this one. I'm sure my rating will go up further, as I loved everything with it, except for the fact that I messed up. Haha
andycted9.0 After one F2F game and one learning online, I love the partial capitalisation and the hardship on the map, but the standard vs narrow gauge choices add a little too much overhead. Maybe it will pass, but I prefer all the other rules for now [UPDATE]. Yes way better at the second or third play. The confusion of gauges went away, I'm still very bad at the operating round, but the overhead disappeared. Still a bit slowish at 3.5-4h , but fantastic game once you get the hang of it.
