Biome

Players build a tableau representing a living ecosystem, placing plant and animal cards into habitat rows to grow a biodiverse Biome. Gameplay proceeds through seasonal rounds that change available actions and effects; players draw cards, gather resources, and play creatures and plants to trigger one-use abilities and score points. Placement matters: certain animals pair with adjacent plants to reproduce or gain bonuses, while predators can hunt in later seasons and baby animals need protection. Optional rules introduce periodic natural disasters for added variability. The game supports 1–4 players and offers multiple difficulty settings and scoring paths.
