Ecologies

Players build and maintain food webs across multiple biomes, arranging organism cards in trophic pyramids with plants at the base and predators at the top. Each biome has distinct ecology-specific perks that activate when the web is healthy; organisms list what they eat and what eats them, and different species award varying victory points based on trophic level. Gameplay combines card placement, trading with other players to acquire needed species, and use of factor cards to influence or disrupt opponents’ ecosystems. The first to reach the victory-point goal wins, and the design integrates real ecological concepts into the strategic play.
