Archipelago
Players act as Renaissance European powers exploring and settling a Pacific/Caribbean archipelago. They send workers to discover territories, harvest and trade resources, and build infrastructure such as markets, harbors, cities and temples. Players use internal and foreign markets to process and sell goods, pursue secret objectives, and negotiate or bargain with others to advance their goals. Native population happiness and occupation levels must be managed to avoid revolts that can cause everyone to lose. The game supports variable lengths via different objective sets and includes rules for solo play with an expansion.
