Earth Reborn

Two factions emerge from underground settlements into a post-apocalyptic surface and clash over control of the rebuilt world. Players command small squads of highly detailed miniatures—military-engineered forces and occultists who raise the dead—across modular maps assembled from polyomino floor tiles. Gameplay proceeds scenario by scenario, with a tutorial-style campaign that introduces core rules and adds new mechanics each chapter to handle objectives like rescue, retrieval, and escort. Turn structure uses order tiles, interrupt duels, and resource management for commands, while rules for search, line of sight, and radio scrambling shape tactical play. A scenario generator enables custom missions and variable player counts.

One of the most interesting miniatures tactics game I've played. I love the way the character minis have different hit areas exposed depending which angle they are attacked from. The plot has an appropriate sense of humor and pacing. The big downside is that this game has a long setup time with lots of fiddily scenery bits. Learning the game from the rulebook is also a lot of work, although in this case playing through the scenarios in quick succession helps to lessen that hurdle. The game takes a commitment certainly. Additionally the scenarios are for 2 players, but random melee maps go to 4, which would be really interesting, but I feel that some experience with the game would be needed for a vs mode to work, which means playing this with 3 different people long enough for it to get familiar in order to get a proper 4p match rolling. ★ Art, Iconography and components functional ★ Clever or interesting mechanisms ★ Reasonably low downtime between turns with mildly AP players ★ Multiple plays stay interesting ★ Low or mitigatable luck elements ★☆☆☆☆ Raw enjoyment

Joc tàctic de miniatures. Té mecàniques molt interessants i està molt ben ambientat. Funciona per escenaris, i disposa de un generador autòmatic que li afegeix rejugabilitat. Les regles són abrumadores al principi, però inclou un tutorial amb 9 escenaris per apendre a jugar que resulta molt útil.
