Players lead competing Orders striving to win the favor of the aging Moon Priestess by sending novices to seven islands that surround the central temple. Novices move according to a worker-movement system: they remain where they ended the previous round and are shifted around the board to be in the right place at the right time. Over six rounds, players recruit and position novices, build shrines, work at the temple, and participate in divine services to collect influence points. Additional actions include gaining the support of local Priests and recruiting more novices to combine with placement tactics. Variable initial island and novice setups yield different tactical and strategic challenges each play.
