Rival merchant families compete to assemble valuable cargoes of commodities in 15th-century Florence. Players bid using their limited bidding chips on sets of revealed commodity cards each turn; the highest bidder takes the revealed cards and adds them to their ships. Rounds end when every player’s ships are full or the commodity deck runs out, and scoring awards points for majority control of each commodity type and for the most valuable overall cargo. The game plays in three scoring rounds and supports varying player counts through its straightforward auction mechanics.
