Minos: Dawn of the Bronze Age

Players lead one of four Minoan clans on Bronze Age Crete, guiding their civilization’s growth over four rounds. Each turn players draft and assign dice to a programming board, balancing low-value dice for strong actions against high-value dice used to advance on tracks and gain benefits. During the action phase players take turns resolving planned actions from highest to lowest dice, building cities, monuments and other structures, opening trade routes, expanding territory and repelling outsiders. Players also develop a personal tableau of cards that provide instant effects and triggered rewards tied to specific actions or die values, and research decrees to amplify future moves. Twice in the game players score points for regional civilization progress; the highest total wins the title of Minos.
