Peloponnesian War

A strategic simulation of the 5th–4th century BC conflict between Athens, Sparta and their allies. Players direct armies, hoplite formations and fleets across a regional map, resolving battles, sieges and naval operations while managing seasonal campaigning and resource constraints. The game uses a two-sided solitaire system in which the same player alternately commands each faction; performance and game-state shifts force players to switch sides and attempt to recover losing positions. Victory depends on the duration of the war and relative success in military and political objectives. Components include a mounted map, counters, strategy boards and scenario-driven playbook.
