Power Grid: The Card Game
Players act as CEOs of power companies, bidding at auctions to acquire power plants and buying fuel to run them. Income comes from the electricity produced each round, and players expand capacity to increase output. A two-player mode includes a neutral Trust acting as a third competitor whose actions affect bidding and planning. Rounds proceed quickly for an intense, roughly hour-long play experience that focuses on auction tactics, resource management, and optimizing production to power the most cities by game end.

Javo7.5 Reimplementación del Alta Tensión en formato cartas. El objetivo del juego es el mismo pero se pierde la parte del tablero. No obstante, el sistema de mercado es bastante divertido ya que es fácil quedarte sin recursos y siempre tienes que pensar bien en que tipo de centrales invertir en base a lo que nos ofrece el mercado. Si os gusta mucho alta tension lo recomiendo, nosotros lo hemos usado para viajes y, a pesar de que ocupa mesa, es fácil de transportar. Lo único engorroso son los billetes.
Kush4.3 1st Impressions: Original POWER GRID is a great game in its own right. This tries to capture the same feeling and succeeds to some degree. However, I just did not care for this experience in a card-version as it is neither here nor there and just comes off a repetitive turn after turn. Just play the full original game or play many of the awesome small card- filler games available if you want something quick or small! There is nothing unique about this interpretation which would bring me back to this.
