Players take the roles of individual heroes in a gothic high-fantasy setting, exploring a dark land of magic and menace. They travel to varied locations, interact with characters and factions, acquire artefacts and spells, and confront powerful enemies as they advance their personal storylines. The game supports solo or cooperative play for one to four players, with each hero following an epic saga that progresses from humble beginnings to a final climactic confrontation that can determine the world’s fate.
