Stone Age: The Mammoth Herd

A migrating mammoth herd passes by the village and can be tamed to aid construction. Each round the herd stands on a resource space indicated by the top bonus tile; players who place workers on that space may move one or more of those workers to the revealed bonus tile by paying food (or substituting resources). Players who commit workers to the bonus tile roll dice together to attempt taming: each uses as many dice as workers they placed, and only the highest single die (then next-highest in ties) determines the winner who may take the “1.” or the “all” bonus, while others receive the “all” bonus. Bonus tiles collected score a separate mammoth-scoring bonus before civilization scoring.
