Talon

Tactical space combat set during an interstellar war between human and alien factions. Players command fleets of capital ships and occasional fighter squadrons on a hex map where each hex normally holds a single ship. Play focuses on managing each ship’s power allocation via a Power Curve: speed determines available power used to charge weapons, reinforce shields, or improve maneuvering. Ships have distinct shield arcs, weapon systems (including tracking missiles), and faction-unique abilities; scenarios include escorts, base assaults, invasions, and campaign-level strategic choices. The system has no hidden information and supports competitive or solitaire play with quick, fleet-scale engagements.
