The Lord of the Rings: Adventure to Mount Doom

Players cooperate to guide Frodo and his fellowship across Middle-earth toward Mount Doom, traveling through familiar locations and facing threats from Nazgûl and other hazards. Movement is driven by a colored-dice mechanic that dictates which character may move and how many spaces they advance; players pick dice before and after rolls, balancing mobility with risk. Black dice trigger encounters drawn from a deck that create ongoing dangers and events. Players coordinate positioning and decisions to preserve Frodo’s resolve and manage encounters; the group wins or loses together based on whether the quest reaches its conclusion.
