Furnace Duel

A two-player follow-up to Furnace that can be played as a standalone duel or as part of a campaign across six distinct boards. Players bid for Company cards or take compensation, then deploy those cards and manage resources to earn the most money over four rounds. Compensation is gained by claiming routes on the board rather than by card effects; claimed discs indicate how many times connected City effects may be used. Each board introduces special rules and features, and the campaign tracks points for wins and Achievements while giving the runner-up a board-specific bonus for subsequent games. Cards can be upgraded and one-shot Shipping company cards act as neutral bids.
