Jórvík

Players take the roles of Viking jarls developing a trading city and vying for prestige. Through a line-based auction and worker-placement mechanic, players acquire cards from a visible display to build trading routes, commission craftsmen, host feasts, fund raids and hire defenders. Actions generate goods, income and victory points while recurring invasions force players to balance offense and defense. The game offers a base and an advanced setup that expand available cards and strategic options.

Not sure if I should like this or not. The start is very slow. And most of the time it feels quite random which card you will get because you can't foresee where others will place their meeples.
