BattleTech: Alpha Strike

Uma versão de ritmo acelerado de um wargame de combate futurista com veículos blindados, ambientado durante a era da Invasão dos Clãs. Os jogadores comandam BattleMechs individuais e outras unidades representadas por Cartas de Unidade abstratas, derivadas das fichas clássicas, e então manobram e lutam em terra, no mar e no ar usando as regras simplificadas de Quick-Strike. O sistema é compatível tanto com partidas de mesa baseadas em hexágonos quanto sem hexágonos e foi desenvolvido para wargamers de miniaturas que querem batalhas mais rápidas do que as oferecidas pelo conjunto de regras completo. Os jogadores montam suas forças, resolvem combates com dados e cartas e perseguem objetivos como destruir ou incapacitar unidades adversárias; o livro inclui exércitos de exemplo e uma estrutura de campanha pronta para jogar.
