In the sixth millennium after Christ, humanity lives among the fading stars. The high-tech Republic has collapsed, and a new Dark Age has fallen over the known worlds. Feudal nobles, fanatical priests, and powerful guilds compete for influence among the ruins of civilization. Players portray characters navigating this divided society, dealing with political struggles, religious forces, ancient technology, and the dangers beyond the settled worlds.
