Upper Heleng: The Forest Beloved by Time

A rules-light forest-crawl set in Upper Heleng, where wandering nomads live under the protection of seasonal gods and the influence of Time. Over five days, explorers travel through foggy uplands, follow a die-drop map, meet local guides and characters, and encounter yam-men, rhinos, falling demons, and other supernatural hazards. The setting includes forest taboos, egalitarian social structures, ethnographic details, cosmological hooks, and a name generator that also creates non-player characters. Strange resources and dangers may cost more than health, including years of life or cherished memories.
