Where There Is Discord: War in the South Atlantic

A solitaire simulation that puts the player in command of the British task force during the 1982 South Atlantic conflict. Players manage naval and air assets, allocate limited Sea Harrier sorties, coordinate ship and weapons defenses, and plan amphibious landings to establish and expand a foothold on the islands. The game models surveillance and intelligence, submarine and surface actions, anti-ship missile threats, logistics and supply, weather effects, variable rules of engagement, political oversight, and third-party interference. Play revolves around operational decision-making, resource management, and responding to historical and random events as Argentine forces contest control.
