Players take the roles of four specialized dwarf miners exploring procedurally generated cave maps on a hostile alien planet. Teams move through tunnels, dig for rare minerals, and resolve combat by rolling dice to fight swarming insectoid predators while managing limited time and resources. Each character has distinct tools and abilities that shape movement, mining, and combat decisions as the group tries to meet a company-set mineral quota and extract before the caverns become too dangerous.
