Evolution: New World

Players create and modify species through trait cards to survive in a shifting ecosystem. Traits mutate animals’ abilities—such as defense, foraging, or mobility—and determine how they compete for limited food and shelter. Food supply is produced by area cards each round, and predators and environmental pressures test species’ adaptations. Successful species reproduce and expand their populations, while poorly adapted ones decline and may go extinct.
