Hacienda

Compete for space on the South American pampas, linking land and livestock to the most markets before the game ends. Take three actions each turn to buy land and animal cards, place tiles and herds, and add waterholes or haciendas for bonus points. Herds earn money when they connect to market towns, while careful placement can block opponents. Spend your earnings to expand, or call a harvest to gain cash from your land. Score points during the game and at the end for markets served, herds, land, waterholes, and haciendas.

This is a fun, quick playing game where you spend coins to buy cards that you can then later play to bring your tiles into the board. The general idea is to link your tile chains to the markets printed on the board and have your tiles be next to water when possible. It's very clever, and has intelligent choices to be made while not making the game overcomplicated.
