The World of SMOG: Rise of Moloch

Players take on the roles of heroic Gentlemen or a single Nemesis in an alternate Victorian England where steam technology and occult forces collide. Play proceeds through standalone scenarios or a linked campaign of missions, each with unique board setups and objectives; outcomes carry over to affect later missions. Gentlemen secretly program activation order, use steam-powered weapons and special actions, and develop character powers and upgrades. The Nemesis controls Agents and Minions, setting traps and advancing an overarching threat while pursuing separate goals. Gameplay emphasizes scenario-driven objectives, asymmetric roles, tactical positioning, and resourceful timing of abilities.
