Players take on the roles of advanced alien beings who influence four mortal civilizations on a shared island over a long span of time. Through placement and management of influence, players steer growth, found cities, direct exploration, provoke battles, and trigger festivals to earn devotion from the populations. Actions and campaigns modify the civilizations’ development on specific hexes, and scoring measures how much each civilization favors a particular player’s influence. The player with the most cumulative worship at the end of the game wins the wager.
