Players take the roles of expedition crew exploring an open-map frontier and confronting newly appeared invasive monsters. The cooperative game combines map exploration with deduction: players search terrain tiles for resources, reason about hidden locations, and resolve daily challenges that demand specific supplies. Allies such as Sacajawea and local indigenous characters can be recruited to aid the team. The box contains two separate campaign chapters with distinct objectives and mechanics—one focused on fauna and the other on flora—each introducing new components and scenarios for replayability.
